“Soon to be an aircraft mechanic”

As some people would say “you can teach your heart how to love”. Learning is one of the reasons why I’m still breathing. I really didn't decide to take up AMT, well maybe its Gods will for me to take up AMT. I’ve been to two courses already but unfortunately I haven’t have enough resources to graduate and yes I’m talking about financial resources.

So this would be my third course AMT. at the moment I am teaching myself to love this job, this course and everything about this field. With the help of my uncle -------------------->
who is my sponsor at the moment, I will do my best to be an aircraft mechanic. When I was in Manila working for survival in the field of business negotiating with people in the real estate industry, my mom phone called me and asked if I wanted to go back to school and I said “yeah but who’s gonna support my studies?”, after a long chat she asked me if I wanted to work with airplanes, then here comes Aviation Training One International in Dumaguete Negros Oriental, the school my mom was talking about. After that chat that we just had, from Manila I automatically went home in Dumaguete City
to study in the field of aviation. I did not refuse the offer because I wanted to finish schooling, and soon I’m gonna be an aircraft mechanic.
According to Merriam-Webster an aircraft is a vehicle (as an airplane or a balloon) for traveling through the air and a mechanic is the one who repairs machines. So for me an aircraft mechanic is the one who keeps the safety of the pilots and the passengers of a certain aircraft, the one who keeps the aircraft flying.
I have here a list of some of the jobs wherein an aircraft mechanic can specialize in:
1.       Aircraft interior technician – this job focuses on the interior of an aircraft, everything about interior design of an aircraft.
2.       Aircraft maintenance engineer – this people maintain an aircraft in good condition.
3.       Aircraft simulator technician – these guys determine the trouble shooting of flight simulators.
4.       Aircraft technician – this people are in the air force, any AMT graduates can specialize in this one.
5.       Composite technician – these people are airframe mechanics. Their focus is on the
airframe of an aircraft.
6.       Avionics maintenance technician – are the ones who maintains all the electronics or wirings of the aircraft.
If I were going to choose a field out this these choices, it would be aircraft maintenance engineer and avionics maintenance technician. Aircraft maintenance engineer as far as I know needs four years of study in school. According to the web definitions in Google, an aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is a person licensed to ensure that the aircraft are worthy in accordance with local and international aviation standards, therefore we need to secure a license after graduating to be qualified on this field. This field can specialized in any kind of aircraft. While avionics maintenance technician deals with the electronics of an aircraft. Inside of a cockpit of an aircraft you will noticed a bunch of switches, dial buttons, and lights. Aircraft use electronics to control the engines, to steer, and to navigate. They also use electronics to track the weather conditions for a safe flight, and to communicate, and to monitor all on board systems.
In avionics we can learn how trouble shoot and repair these systems. In avionics we can learn the basics of electronic circuits and wiring's and the specialized systems used in an aircraft.

After I become an aircraft mechanic I’ll just think of the salary as a bonus, why? Because I know that I will enjoy my work and I will soon be one of those aircraft mechanics who keeps the safety of the passengers and keep the pilots and the aircraft flying. According to a quotation: “God made mechanics so that pilots will have heroes too”. ^_^
